I am forwarding this mail on behalf of Cyber Labs (official coding and
cyber club of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad). Cyber Labs want to conduct a month-wide
open-source hackathon to spread the word of open-source among youngster and
requests mlpack to join as a participating organization for the same. I

Hi Manish

We hope you are having a wonderful day!
We are the official coding and cyber club of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad and are
writing this email to invite mlpack to IIT(ISM)'s first ever open source
hackathon, Winter Of Code.

About Winter of Code:
We are organising an open source fest in the month of December during
winter vacations to introduce students to the world of open source. It will
be similar to GSoC, but the whole process will involve only students from
our college, and we'll mentor the students about how to contribute to Open
Source and get familiar with the codebase of huge Open Source projects. We
wanted mlpack to participate in this fest. Note that you guys won't have to
fill a form/do mentorships etc. We'll do all those things, we've got funds
approved from college for the fest and we'll send the prizes too. All we
request from mlpack is that you guys give permission to use your name as a
participating organization, some resources which students can refer to and
some issues which the students can solve. (Though we request you to open
and mention some first timers issues, but if you've anything else in mind,
please suggest where they can contribute).
