[mlpack] Some questions regarding Quantum gaussian mixture model project

Hello sir,
With deep learning modules I am also interested in the Quantum gaussian
mixture models project but it has no "Recommendation for preparing an
application" section.
Can you tell me what all should I be familiar with to work on this project.

Has some work already been started on this project in MLPACK or will we be
starting from scratch?
